Tomorrow is the big day! I go in for my C-section at 5:30
in the morning. I am , so excited but a bit nervous also.
I have never had surgery before so this is a lot of new
things all at once, some that are not overly exciting things.
The end result is the most exciting thing ever though, so
I am trying just to concentrate on that.

We got to hear the baby's heartbeat on 9/24/04 at the doctors
appointment. We heard it for just a second though, because
the baby was moving around so much the doctor could not
get a good reading for more than just a second. I just hope
that once this baby gets big enough for me to feel it moving
around that it slows down just a bit. hehe. Our next appointment
is 10/22/04. I am going to ask then when we will be able
to find out the baby's sex. I'm assuming it will be in the
November appointment. This month is a busy month, we are
also packing for a move to another part of town. I am supposedly
going to feel the baby move any time now, I am really excited
for that! I will try to update as soon as something new
comes up! I am supposedly going to feel the baby move any
time now, I am really excited for that!

I am still having some pretty bad morning sickness. Hopefully
that will be over soon since I am a couple of days into
my 11th week. My seabands help a lot, but not completely.
Thank God for seabands! My next appointment is 9/24/04,
and Chris and I will be able to hear the baby's heartbeat
for the first time. I am really excited!

I am having some pretty
horrid morning sickness. I have an appointment next week
to get all of the physical exam and initial bloodwork out
of the way.

I had my first prenatal appointment. All that was really
done was an ultrasound and lots of talking. I have our baby's
first pic! You can't really see much of anything, but it's
there! And I saw the little fluttering of the heartbeat!
I thought I would totally lose it and bawl my eyes out but
I was just thinking "That is so cool!". Very awe-inspiring.
